Alien Folk Music will be offering a free holiday show at Simon's Marketplace this coming Wednesday, December 23rd, in Chester from 4 to 7 PM. Drop by for some late afternoon hot chocolate or coffee and some otherworldly Holiday music.

Alien Folk Music is an eclectic fusion of German accordion, modal and Latin jazz, Blue grass, country swing and gypsy circus music. Covering a wide emotional and musical spectrum, the band offers spacious, rhythmically elastic and highly syncopated arrangements of classic and original compositions held together by a melancholic mood of ecstatic pathos and spiritual searching.

The musicians are: Jen Taylor (vocals, guitar and ukulele), Justin Good (guitar), Chris Brown (acoustic bass), Hans Lohse (accordion, percussion and flute), Rich Tortorigi (drum kit and percussion).
